About ViFAB

ViFAB (Knowledge and Research Center for Alternative Medicine) is an independent institution under the Ministry of the Interior and Health, which resides in Aarhus.

Organization

The center is directed by a board of 11 members who are appointed by the Minister for the Interior and Health on recommendation of a number of organizations and authorities.

The day-to-day administration and financial management of the center is undertaken by the director who reports to the board. The overall responsibility for the activities of the center rests with the board.

Financing

The operational expenditure of the center is funded by an appropriation stipulated in the Danish Finance Act. Simultaneously, ViFAB administers a grant for research into alternative medicine.
