Objectives and Tasks

The objectives of ViFAB are:

To promote knowledge of different forms of alternative therapies and their effect
To promote and develop research within this sphere
To encourage a dialogue between health care staff, alternative practitioners and users

To achieve ViFABs objectives, the tasks of the center include:

To collect, process, develop and disseminate knowledge of alternative therapies and herbal medicine
To initiate research within the field of alternative therapy and herbal medicine – either in the context of the center or other research environments, including co-operating with existing research institutions
To encourage a dialogue between registered health care staff, alternative practitioners and users
To promote knowledge of the philosophical foundation of alternative therapies and herbal medicine
